Ascent Jet SA acts as an intermediary for carriers and as such does not operate flights. To this end, Ascent Jet enables operators to make offers directly to users of this platform to which an invariable booking fee is added of 3.5% for on demand flights and 12% for empty legs.
Ascent Jet SA acts only as an Agent for all carriers qualified to perform Charter Flights. The role of Ascent Jet is to make available to the client the Aircraft as specified in the Charter Contract. The Client shall take the Aircraft on charter upon the terms and conditions set out in the Charter Contract and subject to the terms and conditions set out in Ascent Jet’s own terms and conditions.
Ascent Jet, in the role of intermediary, collects payment for flights and ancillary services purchased by users on behalf of carriers and other service providers contracted by the carriers. Remittance or proof of remittance of funds must be received by carriers prior to any flight taking off. Client funds are paid into an Ascent Jet account at the UBS bank in Switzerland for onward transfer to carriers. Where credit cards payments are made, these are verified by Datatrans (the leading Swiss payment service provider), and funds are credited to the same UBS client account.
